I have been thinking a lot about the responsibility and weight of motherhood. Most specially how the spiritually learning and growth of a child (my child/future children) should be second to none.

Are you just pondering this responsibility or having a feeling inadequacy? Just curious. It is perfectily normal to feel the second. :)
